Name of data file

Livegamers web service user register

Purpose of data file

The data file is used for administering customer relations between ESN and users of the Livegamers web service that it maintains, communicating with customers, authenticating users, and improving the business operations of ESN. The personal data and authenticating information in the data file may be used for advertising, marketing and direct marketing between ESN and a user of the Livegamers web service, including electronic direct marketing. The user is entitled to forbid direct marketing aimed at the user. Information may also be used to monitor and investigate abuses.

Information in the data file

The data file contains the following information on users of the Livegamers web service:

Personal data

1. Forenames and surname
2. Mobile phone number
3. E-mail address
4. Other details supplied by the customer
5. Recordings of customer service communications
6. Direct marketing authorisations and prohibitions

Details of use

1. Date of initiating and terminating a customer relationship
2. Visits to the Livegamers web service and actions on the service (user name, time, function used, course of games and outcomes, and IP address)
3. Materials and content submitted to the service by the user
4. Machine ID (individual computer identifier from which the user last logged into the service)
5. Purchases (user name, purchased product/service, time, phone number and game/tournament in which the user has taken part)
6. Details of possible abuses or breaches of service directions
7. Other contact between ESN and the user

Accuracy, currency and completeness of information

E-Sports does not check details supplied by the user. On logging into the service, the user may examine the user information and amend, delete or augment the details to be saved. The user may also notify the customer service staff of the Livegamers service of any changes, amendments or deletions. The user has no access to data on use, games or tournaments.

Information sources of the data file

The information in this data file is obtained from the user when the user registers for the Livegamers service, updates the user information, uses the service or participates in games and tournaments.

Release of data and protection of data file

ESN may release information from the data file as permitted and required by legislation. Information from the data file may be released for the purpose of direct marketing by selected partners of E-Sports to the extent permitted under the Personal Data Act unless the data subject has prohibited such release of information.

The staff of ESN and all subcontractors operating on behalf of ESN are subject to a duty of non-disclosure with respect to information in the data file. Access to the data file is protected by both technical and physical means.

Data storage periods and deletion from the data file

Information shall be stored for the duration of the relevant relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter.
