At the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas, Microsoft announced that 10,4 million Xbox 360 consoles have been sold to retail since its launch, which was almost half million units more than expected.
In over a year, 5 million Xbox Live members have downloaded over 100 million pieces of content, including game contents, movies and television shows.
Microsoft also announced, that the Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) software for Xbox 360, is expected to be available by holiday season 2007. With IPTV, you can watch and record TV programmes in real time.
Microsoft also demonstrated how Windows Vista users and Xbox 360 players can play games at the same time. They showed off with Shadowrun and Halo 2 for Vista, and also with the cross-platform game UNO!
