Mass Effect, the Xbox 360 RPG killer-app has been teasing players worldwide for months. The game is hugely anticipated, but no one seems to know when it´s hitting the shelves.
The Australian Xbox.com site might have spilled the beans this week, when they listed Mass Effect as coming in May 18, 2007. The date was quickly removed, but rumor has it that it actually could be correct. BioWare´s former blockbusters have also been released outside the holiday seasons, and if they´re going to follow the tradition, a summer release could just be the most logical choice.
Microsoft claims that the date is false, and that the real date is unknown as of yet. But they did admit that Mass Effect will be coming out during this year.
