Brand new Xbox 360 updates will be available as of Tuesday. The total amount of improvements will be over 85 new enhancements and features. All this will be distributed via Xbox Live on the 31st of October.
It is a completely free system update with various exciting new features, the most visible one being improvements to the looks and functionality of Live Arcade. New features supporting the upcoming HD DVD player have been added as well as the HD 1080p video mode support. Xbox 360 will also support 50 Hz HDTV display modes. In addition support for the wireless racing wheel and headset has been included in the update.
Support for upcoming release of XNA Game Studio Express has been added as well, although separate subscription and download are required.
